Performance and flow characteristics of the liquid turbine for supercritical compressed air energy storage system

چکیده

The liquid turbine can replace throttling valves during the depressurization process of high-pressure or supercritical fluid and improve system efficiency many industrial systems. However, there is no research about studying internal flow total pressure loss turbines, which affect performance significantly. In this paper, characteristics in a were analyzed for compressed air energy storage (SC-CAES) systems first time. Three typical topology models (C1, C2 C3) tested simulated their performances compared with experimental results. deviation between C3 experiment was less than 2%, while C1 had constant increment 15.8% experiment. each part evaluated nozzle rotor analyzed. Nonuniform affected nozzle’s significantly, rotor’s related to development low regions. results obtained paper provides guidance optimizing turbines improving various installed.
